Michael and his wife Kim established their boutique studio in 1994 to offer families and professionals high-quality, timeless portraits. He is one of the few artists that carry on the legacy of great portraiture through the use of corrective and traditional posing, which creates images that stand the test of time.
Since establishing his family-owned studio, Michael has become well known for his traditional southern portraits, many of which are captured in his lush, evergreen garden that comprises gorgeous hard scapes and wrought iron for the perfect setting. Charm and sophistication are at the heart of Michael’s images and this reputation made him the official photographer for the Junior League of Houston for the past 20 years. Michael’s calm and patient demeanor puts his clients at ease, and his craft in retouching and enhancing images by hand sets him apart as an artist.
Michael is a bilingual native Houstonian, member of St. Anne Catholic Church and is actively involved in many fundraising, charitable and community organizations. He and his wife Kim have two young daughters.
Kacey joined Michael's studio in 2008 after completing her BFA in photography at Sam Houston State University. Since then she has earned a solid reputation for her patient, confident and fresh approach as a professional.
She is adept at capturing baby and high school senior portraits – specialties that have created a lengthy client list of families that trust her to provide high-quality memories they can cherish. Working alongside Michael and drawing from his 20+ years of experience have provided her with an advanced skill set both technically and in relating to her clients.
Kacey grew up in Atascocita – a small suburb of Houston, Texas. She married in 2010 and has a young son.
